Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of holistic healing that originated in India and is considered the sister science of yoga. It has changed my outlook on life on a day-to-day basis and it can do the same for you. I always say it can be as complex or simple as you wish. Just making a few changes to your diet, routine and lifestyle will overtime change your life :)

Here are the most important concepts to help you understand what is ayurveda.
• Ayurveda is based on the principle that everything in the universe is composed of five elements: space, air, fire, water, and earth.
• These elements combine to form three doshas, or biological energies, that govern the physical and mental characteristics of every individual
• The three doshas are Vata (space and air), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (water and earth) h
• Each person has a unique constitution, or prakriti, that is determined by the proportion of the three doshas at the time of conception
• The goal of Ayurveda is to balance the doshas and maintain harmony between the body, mind, and spirit
• Ayurveda uses a variety of methods to achieve this balance, such as diet, lifestyle, herbs, yoga, meditation, massage, cleansing, and rejuvenation therapies
• Ayurveda also considers the influence of the environment, seasons, time of day, and stages of life on the health and well-being of each individual
•  Ayurveda offers a personalised and holistic approach to wellness that can help prevent and treat various diseases, promote longevity, and enhance the quality of life.

I hope this helps. Please comment below if you wish to add anything :)
