Ayurvedic golden milk

Ayurvedic turmeric milk, also known as golden milk, is a traditional Indian drink that has many health benefits. It is made by mixing turmeric powder and other spices into hot or warm milk. Some of its benefits are:

• Heat 1 cup of whole milk (or any plant-based milk) in a small saucepan over low heat.
• Add ¾ to 1 teaspoon of organic turmeric powder, ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper (or long pepper powder), and a pinch of cardamom or cinnamon powder (optional but I recommend).
• Stir well and bring the mixture to a simmer. Do not boil.
• Turn off the heat and add half a teaspoon of honey or brown sugar (optional) for sweetness.
